Homewood Suites by Hilton Chicago Downtown West Loop

Breakfast = really good assortment of breakfast foods. Hot meal was nice start to the day. The attendant, Annette, was so sweet and helpful! Give her a raise please! Room = Excellent for us. But recommend longer shower curtains or lowering the bar as it doesn't keep the water in. Used extra towels for soaking up the shower water on bathroom floor. Staff was more than willing to provide extra towels so it wasn't really a problem, just an extra mess we were concerned about leaking. Security = My daughter had a friend come visit us at the hotel. She was stopped by security or someone before she came up to the room. We had to come down to lobby to get her, which wasn't a problem. We appreciate that someone recognized that she wasn't a guest (even though she's harmless lol), and they don't allow just anyone to wander around the property. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. They didn't even laugh at us too hard when we locked ourselves out of the room... in our pajamas!🤦‍♀️😆 Great location. Downtown but not too far downtown. Close to highway, big benefit! Need More Parking! Especially handicap parking in garage. We've stayed at a lot of Chicago hotels. Some more expensive but we enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Everything was great: the price, the suite, the open meeting space, the meals, and the staff! Most especially, Ms. Tracy and Ms. Annette made us feel so at home and so taken care of. (We were in town for a conference that was at a different hotel, and apparently were the only conference attendees staying at your property. Based on what we heard from others, we DEFINITELY had the far superior experience!) We were thrilled to stay at this location, and I am sure we will always come back there whenever we are in Chicago.

We came in December and we had even free dinner from Monday - Thursday which was above what we've expected. Location is excellent (except for Lincoln park we were able to walk anywhere). Breakfast is simple, but there is all you need. Coffee available all day long in the lounge area. Rooms are perfect - we were family (2+2) and it fits perfectly our needs for 5 days.

Really enjoyed the breakfasts. The coffee bar and lounge area were great. Bed was comfortable. The suite amenities were convenient - i.e. fridge, plates, cutlery, paper towels. Proximity to train station was perfect. We were able to get to Soldier Field easily. We went to the United Centre twice during our stay, the proximity to the arena was perfect.

Good simple hotel, easy access, good location. Staff pretty much left me to my own devices which I prefer.
