Breakfast = really good assortment of breakfast foods. Hot meal was nice start to the day. The attendant, Annette, was so sweet and helpful! Give her a raise please! Room = Excellent for us. But recommend longer shower curtains or lowering the bar as it doesn't keep the water in. Used extra towels for soaking up the shower water on bathroom floor. Staff was more than willing to provide extra towels so it wasn't really a problem, just an extra mess we were concerned about leaking. Security = My daughter had a friend come visit us at the hotel. She was stopped by security or someone before she came up to the room. We had to come down to lobby to get her, which wasn't a problem. We appreciate that someone recognized that she wasn't a guest (even though she's harmless lol), and they don't allow just anyone to wander around the property. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. They didn't even laugh at us too hard when we locked ourselves out of the room... in our pajamas!🤦‍♀️😆 Great location. Downtown but not too far downtown. Close to highway, big benefit! Need More Parking! Especially handicap parking in garage. We've stayed at a lot of Chicago hotels. Some more expensive but we enjoyed our stay and will be back!

I loved everything about this hotel! Maybe not the parking rate, but luckily I read the reviews and knew there was an alternative. They won't tell you that there is alternative parking unless you bring it up, but do it before they finalize your check in and charge your card or parking will be added automatically! Getting in and out of the building was never a hassle and traffic wasn't bad. Getting to everything we needed was close by. Room was great! Beds where so comfortable, I kept falling back to sleep! I did almost forget, a few of our pillows had stains..but everything was so great.. I just tossed them to the side and didn't worry about it. Would stay again!!

This hotel is in an excellent location to attractions and subway. We arrived about 4 hours early and was able to check-in. The ladies in Guest Services were all professional and helpful. The breakfast was pretty good. Good enough to eat breakfast 3 days in a row. The full kitchen in the rooms are a game changer for anyone looking to save money between meals. Bed linen was a little thin but still very clean and comfortable. Our 4 days was extremely pleasant and comfortable, I look forward to staying at a Homewood Suites the next time I travel.

Everything was great: the price, the suite, the open meeting space, the meals, and the staff! Most especially, Ms. Tracy and Ms. Annette made us feel so at home and so taken care of. (We were in town for a conference that was at a different hotel, and apparently were the only conference attendees staying at your property. Based on what we heard from others, we DEFINITELY had the far superior experience!) We were thrilled to stay at this location, and I am sure we will always come back there whenever we are in Chicago.

We came in December and we had even free dinner from Monday - Thursday which was above what we've expected. Location is excellent (except for Lincoln park we were able to walk anywhere). Breakfast is simple, but there is all you need. Coffee available all day long in the lounge area. Rooms are perfect - we were family (2+2) and it fits perfectly our needs for 5 days.
